Warranty & Final Inspection
TAK Floor Coatings Warranty
At TAK Floor Coatings, we believe quality work should be backed by clear, honest guarantees.
Every project includes the opportunity for a final inspection to ensure your floor meets our standards and yours. We also provide each customer with a written warranty, giving you confidence long after installation day.
Our Warranty Coverage at a Glance
TAK Floor Coatings offers the following warranty coverage based on the system installed:
- Polyaspartic Floor Coatings: 10-Year Limited Warranty
- Epoxy Floor Coatings: 15-Year Limited Warranty
Warranty details are provided in writing at the completion of your project.
Note: Warranty terms apply to residential and commercial installations unless otherwise specified in your contract.
What Our Warranty Covers
Our limited warranty is designed to protect against defects related to materials and installation under normal use and proper care.
Coverage typically includes:
- Delamination (peeling or separation from the concrete)
- Cracking caused by coating failure
- Premature coating failure due to installation defects
This warranty reflects our confidence in our preparation process, materials, and installation standards.
Final Inspection & Customer Acceptance
At the completion of your project, TAK Epoxy offers a final inspection (if desired) to review the finished floor together.
This step allows us to:
- Confirm the installation meets expectations
- Review care and curing guidelines
- Answer any final questions
- Ensure customer satisfaction before the project is considered complete
Final acceptance confirms that the floor has been installed correctly and is free of visible defects at completion.
Aftercare & Warranty Compliance
Proper care plays an important role in long-term performance and warranty coverage.
To maintain warranty eligibility:
- Follow recommended curing timelines after installation
- Use approved cleaning methods and products
- Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive tools
- Address spills and heavy use responsibly
We strongly recommend reviewing our Aftercare & Cleaning Instructions for detailed guidance on maintaining your floor.
Failure to follow basic aftercare guidelines may impact warranty coverage.
Long-Term Performance & Topcoat Maintenance
In extreme environments or very high-traffic areas, surface wear may occur over time.
- In some cases, reapplying a protective topcoat after several years can help restore appearance and extend performance
- Normal surface wear does not necessarily indicate product failure
Your TAK team can advise on long-term maintenance options if needed.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
If you believe your floor may have a warranty-related issue:
- Contact TAK Floor Coatings directly
- Provide photos and a description of the concern
- Allow our team to inspect the area if needed
We will review the issue promptly and determine whether it falls within warranty coverage.
